Motoland, Napier's only motorcycle store.
The motorcycle dream for Rochelle and Anthony along with daughter Isobel Ham began in 2018 with the opening of their first motorcycle store “Motoland” located on Austin Street, Onekawa. Not only the Ham’s first store but Napier’s first motorcycle store and only Yamaha Service Centre.

Since the doors opened on Monday 3rd of September 2018, Motoland has become a recognised brand in Hawke’s Bay and a destination for motorcyclists and power tool enthusiasts alike. This September Motoland celebrates it’s first anniversary of their service centre and store which offers a vast range of Yamaha motorcycles, Husqvarna power equipment, ATV vehicles and motorcycle apparel to Hawke’s Bay.
It’s obvious Motoland is a real labour of love for Ant who believes it’s the “It’s the people you meet and the smiles we put on their faces” that makes being involved in the motorcycle industry enjoyable.
The Husqvarna range joins the Motoland store.
Initially, Motoland began by stocking the latest range of Yamaha motorcycles but quickly made the decision to offer more to the Bay welcoming the renowned Husqvarna power equipment range under their roof.
Rochelle and Isobel joke that “Anthony loved the Yamaha and Husqvarna range so much that he had to buy the company”.
It’s no surprise to the team that when a motorcyclist comes in to look at the bikes that they leave with a top end Husqvarna chainsaw. The Motoland team believe the Husqvarna range complements the Yamaha bikes well. And Motoland prides itself on being able to offer Hawke’s Bay a range of vehicles and power tool equipment fit for the Hawke’s Bay landscape.

Not to forget the forever growing and extensive range of motorcycle apparel, accessories and parts that have managed to find a spot on the shop floor and shelves.
The Motoland community has clocked up some serious kms in the last year.
More than just a store and service centre Motoland has become a community hosting a series of group rides. Venturing up the coast to Mahia and winding their way south. The group rides are to encourage motorcyclists regardless of ability to get out and ride together as a group of enthusiasts.
Motoland Service Centre has been busy servicing the Bay's motorcycles.
The service centre community has also grown considerably over the last year. Although an authorised Yamaha service centre, the workshop has serviced and repaired many of Hawke’s Bay’s riders Harley Davidsons, Ducati’s Triumphs and BMWs.
It’s obvious the Motoland team of technicians have become quickly renowned as highly skilled and specialised in a range of motorcycle brands because new customers keep rolling in the door. Our technicians pride themselves on getting the job done right the first time, ensuring our riders bikes are on the road and not in the workshop.

The success of Motoland's first year is a true reflection of our dedicated team and their extensive knowledge of motorcycles, ATV and power equipment.
Motoland will mark it’s first birthday on Saturday the 14thof September, with a weekend-long celebration at their Austin Street store. Vendors, Motoland community members and the general public are invited to join the Ham’s and their team to mark their first birthday milestone.
Weekend events will include the appearance of special guest Josh Coppins, Husqvarna demonstrations, test rides of their Yamaha range, family-friendly activities along with a sausage sizzle.
